Presentation of the music area
Funds
 | A various range of music genre are proposed so everyone can find something they like. There’s also a collection of CDs for kids at the heart of the adult area. |
The music funds are also composed of soundtracks from movies that can be found in the cinema area, music DVDs, and music sheets. So come and just do as you were Madonna or Ben Harper.
If you don’t like reading, you’ll find some audiobooks in this area.
Classification system
  | Each music genre has its own quote so every CDs of a genre will be located in the same place: 1.1 Blues |

CDs are classified by alphabetical order of the artist’s name (the first three letters of the composer, interpret, band’s name) or by the title (for soundtracks and compilations).
Exemple : a John Lee Hooker will be quoted 1.1 HOO, 1.1 for blues and HOO, the three first letters of the name.
Terms of lending
All the documents of the music area can be lend for three weeks. Every users can lend 2 CDs.
Additional services
 | All the CDs can be listened on listening stations or on computers with headphones. |
Moreover, by suscribing to the music website NAXOS, you will have the possibility to have the axcess to a streaming playlist composed of 15,000 discs (Classical, jazz and blues). (voir rubrique abonnements(FR)) With NEXOS, you can listen to the music from the media library website, inside of the media library or at home.

Concert – on Tuesday, 6.30p.m.-7.30p.m., quarterly, music area
Once per quarter, a local band/artist is invited to perform in the middle of the music area of the media library. In order to satisfy everybody’s tastes, all the musical genres are honored.
